China has a long history with 5,000 years. People all over the world are impressed by Chinese history and its profound culture. Here I recommend top 5 historical and cultural cities in China for your reference.

1.XI’AN the Entombed Warritors—- the eighth Wonder of the World
The Terracotta Army Museum lies 1.5 km east of the tomb of Qi shihuang, known as the First Emperor in China, who ordered the creation of this model army. The Terracotta Army has lain underground for more than 2000 years.
Excavation of the earth and timber vaults revealed thousands of life-size terracotta warriors in battle formation – a whole army which would accompany its emperor into immortality. The discovery was a real eye-opener to the whole world, as the vaults are so big, the figures are so vivid and the number of the figures is so incredibly large!

2.Rewake Buddha Temple Ruins
It lies in the Julakansiman desert, 40 kilometers away from the Yulong Kashi town of Luopu county in Hetian, the national key protected cultural relic.
40 kilometers away from the Yulong kashi Town, Rewake Ruins  is braced by a vast wide desert. Rewake is Uygur language which means pavilions.  The complex contains a big pagoda inside a courtyard and some attached buildings outside. Outside walls were decorated with colored murals and clay figurines and   Buddhist sculptures litter around everywhere. From the left remnants, experts   believe that of those statues, the largest one is around 3 meters tall. Each section of the wall measures 45 meters, which demonstrates the ruins?Grand looks!

3. The Great Wall of China
The Great Wall of China, one of the greatest wonders of the world, was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in 1987. Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 8,851.8 kilometers (5,500 miles) from east to west of China. With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections are now in ruins or have disappeared. However, it is still one of the most appealing attractions all around the world owing to its architectural grandeur and historical significance.
